Testimonials: Fri18Sep & Sat19Sep MDI Workshop

Paresh Somlal writes: Subject - JUST AMAZING

Hi Trevor and Ivan

One of the most amazing 2 days that I've ever experienced in my life. I attended many workshops and seminars in my life. I even attended a 5 day seminar of one of the most well known motivational speakers in the world, but the past 2 days have been one of THE BEST. I have learnt more in these two days than ever before and to top it all I have met 35-37 of the most amazing people that I would call them friends.

What I learnt from this workshop is the following:
1) Nothing is impossible.

2) There is beauty in this world, stop and smell the roses
3) Everyone is unique
4) Begin with the end in mind
5) Simplify, simplify, simplify
6) "Milliondollar" ideas/business plan can materialize on sand ground and don't need to be a fancy, perfectly printed out document. It doesn't need alot of time to come up with the "Milliondollar" idea.
7) You don't need to do it alone.
8) Everything is in three's - i) End, ii) Middle, iii) Beginning
9) Ask the right questions, and don't be shy to ask for help
10) When you first start with something it doesn't need to be perfect, perfect it as you go along.
11) Don't ever run after money, let money come after you.
12) The most important person in any business is ME than comes the BUSINESS and lastly THE CUSTOMER

I would advise anyone who thinks they have a milliondollar idea then don't wait - just get out there and do it, BEGIN WITH A END IN MIND.

I would like to thank everyone for being part of my growth and wish everyone the best of luck in your MDI and don't forget if you need my help, please don't be shy.

Last but not the least, the guys that put it all together, Trevor and Ivan, I am in total awe at what you guys shared with me and everyone. I, THANK YOU BOTH FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART.

SUPERB

Dear Trevor,

Testimonial -
Trevor and Ivan’s Milliondollarise your Business' Workshop was beyond Gold, beyond Platinum, rather reaching into value of infinite dimensions. Here were two people who have achieved multi billion businesses prepared to share their wisdom to give a leg up to others wanting to achieve million rand status. We were given insight into a parallel universe of Disruptive Innovation where conventional wisdom is stood on its head with awesome results, as well as a step by step approach to achieve our goals. Now the challenge is absorb the information and own it.

3 Things I learnt

1. I am number 1, not the Customer

2. Believe it and then see it. The single dandelion.

3. Stop chasing the money, rather let it chase you. (I’ve been doing that for the
last 10 years with disastrous results).

With many thanks once again,

With kind regards,
Mike Gardner

Dear Trevor & Ivan

You helped me to "wake up" from my dream world and turn it into reality! I am so grateful for having the opportunity to attend the workshop, I realized that there is more to my business than I think "IT IS ACTUALY HUGE"! You opened my mind to something so enormous that I never even thought could be possible!! On my way home Saturday I started thinking about the people I've met from Soweto, the contribution they've made. I am so "out of the box" my husband can't keep up with my ideas:) (May I add) He normally don't get pulled into something unless it is either GREAT OR ENORMOUS!!!! Well I've managed to "MILLIONDOLLARIZE" his mind in +- an hour to such an extent that he might be the one who is going to do most of the work and I'll be watching:) His words "check this space"! Thank you for opening "my box" and a special thanks to everybody that made a contribution. I wish all of you success and enjoy the ride while you achieve your goals.

Hi Trevor and Ivan,

In attachment you will find my testimonial. If you will see any russian interfirience with an English language, please feel free to correct it.

When I was planning to attend MDI I felt good about it and was looking forward to learn more about business.

But what I’ve got out of the course was mind blowing.

My expectations were so tiny compare to what I’ve got.

Little box I was sitting in was broken completely. Instead I was given tools and ideas how to build a new solid house with a strong foundation.

Brilliant! Simple, strong and straight to the point!

I wish I would attend this course a year ago. I always use to enjoy Networking, but only after MDI I understood real value of it and how much more I can do with it.

Thanks for opening my eyes and showing the power of team working!

I am going to recommend this course to all the people who want to do something with there’s life! It is life changing weekend!

Thanks again, I feel honored to be a part of INNER Circle.

Dear Trevor,

We’d would just like to say thank you for a fantastic two days of opening the mind to the possibilities. Its remarkable how in one way or another you are aware of what you should do but it takes a great facilitation to bring it to life and into reality.

It's interesting that the way we have built our business aligns perfectly with what the workshop was about. What we took away has confirmed that we are on the right track and can take our business to the next level by being facilitators for other
businesses.

1. Definitely BUSINESS UNUSUAL
2. Definitely CONSTRUCTIVE DECONSTRUCTION
3. Definitely 21 POINTS (Blackjack)

Hi Trevor

I attended this MDI workshop with ideas of what it would be, and was surprised. I had expectations, they were well exceeded. I came in with beliefs, they were altered. I have only just started putting some of the principals that were discussed in place, yet I feel richer already.

Well done to you and Ivan.

A Call For Help!

This in from Ivan Andersen:

Hi Rory and Trevor

As you both know there has been a person, (architects's name withheld), who has put significant time and effort into helping Unity College with their new school. He has spent countless hours designing, consulting and assisting in what ever way he could. ALL at NO cost to the school. Conservative estimates put his input at over R1,000,000.00 worth of savings to the school.

His business has been severely impacted but the credit crunch and slow-down in the economy, to the extent where he has been forced to put his own house on the market, and as you know this is not a good time to be selling.

His residential design, assessment and modifications business has basically dried up.

It breaks me up to see a man with such a big, good heart, finding himself in a position like this.

Please put the word out and lets see if any of our connections can help. His good deeds surely cannot go unrewarded like this!

From Soweto To Fort Klapperkop PRETORIA

Ivan and I are doing some very interesting travelling around unique sites in South Africa. On Friday, we attended a business training session with JV partner Hugo Snyman's Third Circle at Fort Klapperkop - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pretoria_Forts#Fort_Klapperkop - Pretoria facilitated by van Der Spuy Brink.

Boy, we have some interesting sites for visitors in our country... what with Ubuntu Kraal, the Top of Africa - Marung Restaurant at the top of the Carlton... and now Fort Klapperkop (amongst other forts in the area). Well worth a visit.

Become A SOWETO Ambassador

We're busy brainstorming a concept to allow committed individuals in every major city, town, municipality around the world to be recognised as Offical International Ambassadors and/or members of the designated Ambassador's team.

INNOVATIVE: First idea is to have each Offical International Ambassador commit to finding innovative ways to raise a minimum contribution of 1000 currency units (preferably in major currencies i.e. Dollar, Pound, Euro, Yen et al) per month to fund social entrepreneurial project development through our Soweto Chamber of Commerce & Industries JV projects website.

RARITY: Second idea is to keep the status of a major city Official International Ambassador - say New York, London, Paris, Mumbai, Tokyo, Sydney, et al - imbued with all the characteristics of a rare honour... in recognition of the Ambassador's serious comitment - by only appointing ONE Official International Ambassador per city.

EXPANSION: Clearly the idea can expand through the Ambassador to his/her appointment of an Ambassador's Team of 10 or more to break up the task of collecting the minimum commitment of 1000 currency units per month per city into 10 simple units of 100 currency units per month per each Team member.

VIRAL: Official International Ambassadors and their Ambassador's Team members can promote their status and mission for this Soweto social entrepreneurial upliftment project on their own websites - has co-promotion, cross-branding, social-networking potential amongst others. They will also have a presence on the SOWETO Chamber of Commerce & Industries website designating their official status.

If YOU would like to become the Official International Ambassador or Ambassador's Team member for this SOWETO Chamber of Commerce & Industries JV project for YOUR CITY and make a firm commitment to making something magnificent happen for Soweto entrepreneurs through this project, or if you just have some great ideas for us regarding this project, let us know on this link and we'll get back to you ASAP: YES Please, I Want To Become An Ambassador in (insert your city)

Big Plans For SOWETO

Nancy Nxumalo, President of the Soweto Chamber of Commerce & Industries - one of our premier Soweto project JV partners is quoted in two extracts from the article There are big plans for Soweto - by Emily Visser - Tuesday, 16 September 2008 - source: City of Johannesburg website (http://www.joburg.org.za/)

Soweto Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) president, Nancy Nxumalo, says the plan is long overdue. "We are looking forward to this. There are a lot of small, medium and micro enterprises not in a state of achieving their best."

"What is lacking is infrastructure and capacity. We need to build entrepreneurs," Nxumalo agrees.

That's where we're focusing our time - working with prototype development project teams (see image below of fantastic youngsters from NGO Teboho Trust in Orlando West in training at UBUNTU Kraal) - stimulating entrepreneurial devlopment and business ownership at grassroots community level by establishing Community 100 Empowered mini-retail stores in the hands of local community households.

Author Nick Williams - International Ambassador for SOWETO

Found a book on Sidwell Nxumalo's desk at UBUNTU Kraal titled: 'How To Be Inspired' by Nick Williams.

In it was a 2-page article (see below) about our budding JV partner Sidwell Nxumalo and the UBUNTU Kraal in Soweto.

Immediately sent a note off to Nick in the UK, introducing myself and making this suggestion: 'Thought: How would you like to be an international/U.K. 'ambassador' for our Soweto promotion ideas leading up to 2010... we aim to come up with some innovative ideas to stimulate small business revenue-generation in Soweto... interested..?'

Responded Nick (shortened extract): 'Hi Trevor, Thanks for contacting me - yes, it seems like synchronicity. I loved my brief visit to Soweto and meeting Sidwell... keep me in touch - here is the story from the book and a photo of me with Sidwell as the Ubuntu Kraal.'

Look for inspiration in unexpected places

by Nick Williams

“People are like stained glass windows: they sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light within.” Elizabeth Kubler-Ross

Inspired people know that inspiration is often found in places where we would least expect to find it. A couple of days after arriving in Johannesburg, my colleague, Richard has explained to me that on Monday we were going to visit Sidwell Nxumalo, Sid, a friend of his who lived in Soweto, and Richard said I’d find Sid inspiring.

My only images of Soweto were of violence, burnings and shootings, so I remained to be convinced, but trusted Richard, as he’d been there before. Officially just over a million people live in Soweto, but unofficial estimates put it at more like four million and growing daily. It’s busy and crowded, but better than I thought it would be, although I was still concerned for my own safety. As we approached Senokonyeana Street in Orlando West, Soweto, there was spirit – we passed the world’s largest murals painted on the side of Orlando Power stations. But I heard of the words I least wanted to hear from Richard’s mouth, which were “Nick, I think we’re lost”. A quick call to Sid’s mobile and we were on track again, and as we approached and entered the Ubuntu Kraal that Sid created, and it was as if we had entered an oasis. Even in the darkest days of apartheid, Sid had wanted to create something beautiful for the community.

So here’s the secret: Inspired people know when they have the eyes to see it, they can find inspiration anywhere

Sid explained to me, “The word ubuntu is a Zulu word and translates roughly as humanity towards others. But it means much more than this. The spiritual foundation of African societies, ubuntu involves a belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all of humanity, a unifying worldview best captured by the Zulu maxim umuntu ngumuntu ngabantu - 'a person is a person through other persons'.” I wondered if apartheid had been motivated by the very opposite, to dehumanise and disconnect.

Sid had managed to become the first black master builder in South Africa, and using his contacts and resources, managed to buy an ash dump from the government. Over a period of 20 years he had literally transformed this ash dump into the sanctuary in which I was now standing. It was a green, lush and beautiful oasis. There was a conference centre, community centre, a place for weddings, a swimming pool, kitchens, beautiful flowers, birds. I was astonished. He loved his community so much he wanted to create something beautiful for it. I then discovered that Sid has helped dozens of other people in Soweto start their own small businesses. Later as he drove us around it became obvious that he was a known and loved leader of his community, but had chosen not to go into politics as he believed he could achieve more without those incumbencies. He showed us the only street in the world where two Nobel peace prize winners had lived – Desmond Tutu and Nelson Mandela, and drove us past their houses.

We drove back to the centre and thanked Sid for his time and care, and we all hugged each other, another thought struck me. Richard had been in the army, so during apartheid Richard was responsible for implementing it. Fifteen years ago these two men in front of me hugging each other as brothers were enemies across a divide of colour and today they were friends in building a new country together. I was touched moved and inspired, in Soweto! I learned that over 20% of the people that visit South Africa now visit Soweto, around 250,000 people a year and it sets trends in politics, fashion, music, dance and language.

So here’s the secret: where people are, inspiration can be too. Beyond our fears and judgements, inspiration is often happening right now.

Wow... inspirational..!

And... right on our doorstep.

Our role must be to become proud ambassadors for stories like this emanating from Soweto and many, many grassroots communities across South Africa. Let's DO it!

Regards
Trevor

We Find Humility & UBUNTU At Soweto's Greenest Oasis

Seldom have Ivan and I had the pleasure of meeting with someone who embodies anywhere near the humility and spirit of UBUNTU that is personified by our very own Madiba - ex-Pres. Nelson Mandela - but this man is that rare exception:

His name: Sidwell Nxumalo - owner: Ubuntu Kraal, Orlando West, Soweto

We're proud to be developing a joint venture business relationship with someone so clearly the salt-of-the-earth in this historic community of Orlando West, Soweto.

We're busy compiling, collecting, collating historic articles and data on this unique man and facility. Here's a sample of what we've found:

Online Article: Escape the city, retreat to Ubuntu Kraal - February 20, 2004

Online Article credit - sourced from: City of Johannesburg website - http://www.joburg.org.za/

FOR anyone needing a timeout from a hectic Jozi lifestyle, the Ubuntu Kraal, situated in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Soweto, is the ideal kickback place - a little piece of African tranquillity just kilometres from the centre of Johannesburg.

Here, on 2.8 hectares of prime real estate in Orlando West, people can rent one of the 10 self-catering bushveld-style lapas - available for the day - or hold conferences or functions.

Ubuntu Kraal owner Sidwell Nxumalo (middle) with guests

Driving into the development from Orlando, the eye is immediately drawn to the centrepiece of the venue: the conference facility. Painted in pink, with black and white drawings of Zulu shields and assegais and cast-iron three-legged pots on the walls, the conference building can hold up to 500 people. It can cater for a wide range of activities, from graduation ceremonies and jazz concerts, to weddings and marketing events.

Inside the conference centre, soothing traditional music plays in the background, adding to the tranquillity of the venue. Specially trained staff ensures that the needs of the particular client are met, adjusting the layout of the tables and chairs, ensuring the appropriate equipment is available.

Owner and managing director of Ubuntu Kraal, Sidwell Nxumalo, says he saw a gap in the market and decided to pursue his dream of creating a venue "that is unique, practices ubuntu and is competitive in nature". His vision is "to enhance the tourism industry in Soweto by providing service of the highest level and through the constant pursuit of excellence".

Visitors using the thatched lapas for the day can choose to use a fully equipped self-catering unit or book the in-house catering service. The area also boasts a green lawn for easy walks, picnic areas, soothing waterfalls, and a swimming pool.

Ubuntu Kraal in-house catering service, supplies visitors with traditional food, including samp, ting (sour porridge), mogodu (tripe), mopane worms and morogo. Other items include a finger lunch of meat dishes, vegetables and salads or a braai menu of chicken peri-peri, rump steak, traditional wors served with pap, rolls, roasted potato and tomato gravy. The costs of the set menus vary, depending on what visitors choose.

A traditional African ethos - ubuntu - permeates the venue. The triangular arch at the entrance is painted with the geometric patterns typical of Ndebele art.

Nxumalo never loses sight of the strength of the family and has a plaque for his father, Bava Hongonyi, at the entrance. One of the halls used for functions is called "Nwamazwinyi" after his mother. Just outside the hall is a small garden chapel for intimate weddings. This is the "Gogo Mandabas Chapel", named after his grandmother. "She was my inspiration, my mentor," Nxumalo says.

Alongside the conference centre is a train carriage on a 4m-railway track. It is an old-style maroon and gold South African Railway carriage, with wooden benches and bunks that could be made into beds for an overnight trip. Nxumalo plans to refurbish the carriage, at a cost of R60 000, and turn it into a restaurant and a hideaway for newly weds.

The initial infrastructure dates back to the late 1980s, when it was an office park and site for Nxumalo's construction and paving company. He has invested his money in "several strategically positioned pieces of real estate in Soweto". Funds from these investments were ploughed into establishing Ubuntu Kraal. Work began in 1995 on turning the property into the entertainment and leisure centre.

Ubuntu Kraal is a popular venue for weddings

Besides the conference venues and lapas, Ubuntu Kraal now boasts several communal braai and kitchen areas, a dining room, and a small farm with ducks, cows and horses.

"Although the primary target for this venture was the emerging market, the company quickly earned itself an excellent reputation with its clientele and also expanded into more affluent areas," says Nxumalo. Now it caters for a vast range of people.

Guests have included the former US ambassador to the United Nations and former mayor of Atlanta, Andrew Young, and delegations from the chambers of commerce of Johannesburg, Malaysia and Thailand. Multinational corporations such as Coca Cola, Tastic Rice and Kellogg's have also made use of the conference facilities.

Ubuntu Kraal is an ongoing development, with Nxumalo's fertile imagination constantly planning changes and other developments. "I want to continue reinvesting in the community by expanding and promoting this venue."

A further 1.3-hectares of land is still available to continue building Nxumalo's dreams. He is planning a new R1.2-million development: "The main thrust of expansion will be the construction of 10 additional chalets to accommodate tourists. These chalets will be upmarket guest quarters with carpeting, furniture, self-contained restrooms and bathrooms."

A second phase of the expansion will be the upgrading of the dining lounge to a fully equipped restaurant, "serving traditional South African meals", he adds.

"People desire to visit Soweto for its unique culture, it is a symbol of resistance to oppression and it has a very rich heritage," says Nxumalo. His opinion is backed by statistics from the South African Tourism Board, which shows that an average 1 400 people visit Soweto each day, many from other African states and elsewhere.

Visitors want to see the Hector Pieterson memorial, Nelson Mandela's old house and other heritage sites. Because of the large number of visitors, "a dire need has arisen to establish trading, cultural, entertainment and overnight centres in Soweto", says Nxumalo.

Ubuntu Kraal is one kilometre from the Hector Pieterson memorial and within walking distance of Mandela's old house, as well as the home of Archbishop Desmond Tutu. Says Nxumalo: "Ubuntu Kraal will complement rather than compete with existing businesses."

Ubuntu Kraal is situated at 11846 Senokoanyana Street in Orlando West, Soweto and its office is open from 6am to 6pm. Evening functions can also be arranged.

For information on hiring the venue contact Sidwell Nxumalo on 083 271 5096

EXPECT The Unexpected... Accept The Unacceptable

Was in a discussion, re: Community 100 Empowered, with a team from Nedbank at Ubuntu Kraal, Orlando West, Soweto - see: http://www.tsfos.co.za/gallery-1.5.8/NedbankUbuntu0908 .

I happened to say that Ivan Andersen and I have taken the view on all of our JV's, no matter where they are based or who they are structured with, to '..expect the unexpected.. and.. accept the unacceptable..'!

The response to this statement has been amazing, almost as if we're some kind of profound gurus of some kind.

So what are we actually saying... well, I think it is that life is so hectic, and events moving at such a pace all around us, and people are so fickle and/or well-meaning, that almost anything that can go wrong to trip you up on your best-laid plans probably can and will go wrong.

And most often this happens at the very worst time or when you can least afford it... or when you really just don't want any more hassles in your life... or when you finally got your feet up to watch TV or just relax. Never at the right time!

Given that I don't have much hair left to pull out... we now just take the happening on the chin and look for a work-around that involves damage-limitation at worst or a better solution at best.

We attempt not to waste time on crying over spilt milk if it does not result in a fix that ensures that the problem occurence will not repeat itself. Sometimes... things just happen..!

A classic example of this statement coming into effect happened just yesterday at our local Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

See: JSE: Trade halted - Sep 8 2008 11:02AM Fin24.com reporter - Johannesburg - Trade on the JSE equity market was halted at 10:30 on Monday morning, with the bourse saying it was investigating reasons for the stop in trade.

See: Brokers 'robbed of R100m' - Sep 8 2008 5:23PM - Marc Ashton - Johannesburg - Brokers look set to have lost up to R100m in brokerage charges following a technical glitch which saw the JSE closed for trade for most of Monday. "The South African broking community has been robbed of R100m based on the R15bn turnover I believed the market could have traded," said Lavan Gopaul of Cortex Securities. "Investors were robbed of an opportunity to take some profit."

Both unexpected and unnacceptable! Wonder how they are dealing with it?

Lat week I had an unexpected call at 6:45 on Monday evening... my daughter was in distress on the other end having just been in a crash. Every father's nightmare. Was she okay? Anyone hurt? Can she distinguish reality through the shock? Took me 20 minutes to get to the scene... and only the tow truck operators were there arguing over who was going to tow the cars. Unacceptable!

She was okay... as was the other youngster who skipped a red light straight in front of my daughter. Both cars were a write-off. Unacceptable!

But, what do you do? Punch his lights out?

Nope... I'm living under the principle of '..expect the unexpected... accept the unacceptable..' and look for the positive workaround.

I thanked God for them both being alive. It happened. Now deal with it positively.

MDI Feedback Testimonials

Monday 02nd June saw another 'MillionDollarize YOUR Business' (MDI) workshop - see http://www.mdiventures.blogspot.com/ - held at, and venue sponsored by, The PALAZZO, Montecasino Boulevard, Fourways.

Writes Paula de Pinho:

Dear Trevor

As always, you bring something new to the table and stir up emotions that as business entrepreneurs, know we have, but for some reason, just don’t change our mindset in order to shift from the one scale to the bigger picture.

For most people Change means uncertainty and upsets the routine to which they are accustomed to. It brings on feelings of negativity and self doubt.

Workshops such as yours, allows the attendees, that much needed alone time to seriously re-consider the necessary steps forward, in order to achieve the goals and dreams we all so badly want.

It also allows each member present to see for themselves that they are not alone in this struggle and that with a little push from INNER Circle mentoring, they can achieve what they thought was unachievable.

We shouldn’t take life too seriously as we are all going to die anyway, so why not make the best of it NOW.

If Johnny the Bagger could do it - then why can't we. Johnny is an inspiration and Dandelion to us all.

Hopefully at our next meeting, the enlightened members present will see the Gorilla in me - LOL.

As for the Palazzo management and staff, whom I have come to know so well due to various meetings held there with VIP’s, it would be an insult not to once again remind them, that they never go unnoticed and their level of expertise and service needs no improvement.

I have & would repeatedly recommend Mark the CEO to all business Entrepreneurs for his never ending patience and personal attention to detail. He has my thumbs up and my partners and I will follow him, wherever he may go.

Having Joseph serve us breakfast every morning, brightens up my day with his excellent manner, and obvious skills, acquired at the Palazzo, that being a very necessary requirement of mine, for my guests.

Private dinning and excellent cuisine prepared by Mark and his team for our dinner reservation with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, was exquisite. Thanks Mark.

Looking forward to meeting you all again with Trevor and the Palazzo team.

Writes Brian Carter:

Hi Trevor

It was a privilege to be at the MDI meeting on Monday at The Palazzo. Thank-you for a day well spent, and for the opportunities that abound because of the opportunity in itself to be a part of this process.

It is a process, of exploration, of believing then seeing, of seeing the gorilla, of seeing the opportunity, of seeing the dandelion, of seeing the good frame to the great frame, of shift happening, of celebrating what's right with the world, of being the best for the world.

I look forward to MillionDollarising!

To the team at The Palazzo: there is no better place to have these sessions. The Palazzo is a phenomenal establishment, with quality food, excellent service, and fantastic people all adding to the incredible experience.

Mark, thank-you for hosting us. Debra, thank-you for your assistance as always. Joyce, thank-you for the wonderful lunch and refreshments all day. Mohale and Eric, thank-you for attending to us in such a professional and friendly manner - you are both assets to The Palazzo.

Writes Gary Webb:
The INNER Circle Circle gathering at the Palazzo was, as usual, a day well spent. So nice to get away from the doom and gloom we read every day and get into a positive environment amongst people who do see the bigger picture.

The content was inspiring and all the participants were generous with their contributions.

Top marks again to the venue for keeping our sugar and caffeine levels where they needed to be, and for the thorough, but unobtrusive service.

See you all on the other side of the million!

Thanks Trevor

It truly was a day very well spent away from my business. I loved the video
clip with the gorilla – it really woke me up to realizing the opportunities under my nose which sometimes I could miss.

The dandelion effect got me to realise I always need to look at things from a different perspective – no matter how disappointed I am.

A marvelous day – fabulous venue and food – and great people.

Great inspiring stuff, particularly in the context of the “Celebrate What’s Right With The World” and “Shift Happens”

Trevor
What a brilliant day it was teaching us to Million$ise our businesses!.

To be encouraged to think out of the box (or look under the dandelion) and to be told how important it is to Believe before we See rather than the other way about plus so many more aids to develop us and our businesses.

To spend a day with like minded entrepreneurs and to be treated (and fed) like Kings by the staff at the Palazzo. What a day to revitalize the grey matter and the soul.

Writes Sacha Traub:

Hi Trevor

I would like to thank you for an enjoyable and inspirational day, even though a bit daunting. I took the whole day to get the penny drop for me and I think at the end what rang out for me the most was how limited my thinking is, and how I am my own worst enemy.

I truly believe we are a victim of our circumstances and know that I am currently struggling to see the HUGE picture that is out there. I know havethe skills, energy and enthusiasm, I may be lacking in the confidence inputting the plan into action.

Would we be able to meet or could you correspond via email to give me a new suggestions on who to speak to and help me mobilise the Gorilla under my nose. I want big things however am feeling a little intimidated in which direction to follow. I obviously believe in God's plan and know we have been put in the same room for a reason, please can you assist me in identifyingthe best way forward from here.

The venue was fantastic, the food and service unbelievable. Definitely avenue I would choose to run workshops. Have already recommended the Palazzo to a friend of mine that was looking for a year end function, and he has made enquiries accordingly.

Have a great day!!

MDI Delegates Find Dewitt Jones - Celebrating LIFE

Special thanks to Stef de Bruin for introduction to the Dewitt Jones video: Celebrate What's Right With The World

- Dewitt underscored the importance of being OPEN to possibilities that exist all around us, almost all the time.
- Dewitt's 'dandelion' moment demonstrated the importance of taking quiet time to look at things from a fresh perspective ('believing is seeing').
- Said Dewitt: 'As a photographer I pray for CHANGE'.
- He talked of being open to ways to 'Accelerate the Possibility Curve'.
- That moving from good frame to GREAT frame is a miniscule step.
- Ivan Andersen showed how most of us miss the 'gorilla' (opportunity et al) right in front of our noses.

Ivan and Trevor also share how they had gained from the collective input and interest of previous MILLIONDOLLARIZING attendees to see the morphing of Murdoch Inc. into the new mdiVENTURES, leading to the development of the mdiACCELERATOR business collaboration tool.
